The distinguished Irish metal of Primordial has returned with a vengeance!  Storm Before Calm marks the band's fourth mighty effort and it's clearly the stuff that metal dreams are made of.  The passionate songs are inspired by their country's folklore as well as modern day events, and are performed with a brutal intensity.  Kicking the album off with a track entitled The Heretics Age, there is no denying the unique visions and pure aggression the music inspires from within.  Fallen To Ruin is up next, with its grand musical soundscapes and a brief spoken word interlude midway through.  Cast Out The Pyre is another profound track of epic proportions that is simply devastating.  Dark and filled with a deep sense of melancholy, Storm Before Calm is a unique experience that extreme music fans will want to bear witness to many times over.  Vocalist A.A. Nemtheanga and his horde have great cause to celebrate, as Storm Before Calm should finally place them within the eye of the world metal arena.
